| In the first week of our junior year at Plum High, Mr. Williams asked us to write down where we thought we’d be in ten years. I remember I dreamed I’d be a psychiatrist (or finishing med school) and play the French horn for the Symphony when I wasn’t chasing around my 2.3 children in the suburbs. Who knew I’d be a full time bartender with 2.3 cats living in the single city? Surely most of us strayed from our teenaged aspirations, some staying near family in Plum, others moving as far away as California (Chad Ciccarelli) and Florida (Carli Segelson, Faith Malits and Cindy Martello). But no matter where the past decade has taken us, our roots still hold tight in Plum Borough, even if you were a New Ken kid (Lara Burkey) or East Oakmont transient (Stacy Sipe & Guy Cordero). So here we are, thinking back to the days of our fleeting youth, some of us watching our kids grow up the way it feels like we just did. Occasionally we pass in town or back home. Andy DeFazio works downtown, and Lisa Kuritzky eats downtown. I haven’t seen Dave Waronsky or Tom Zelahy since IUP (whaddup Stewart Hall!—Annie says Hi). It took reuniting a couple of old horn players at Eleven Contemporary Kitchen to get the wheels turning on this fabulous class reunion. Jason Campbell – now J.T. - and I worked together at the bigBurrito restaurant before he went off to manage the terrific new Sonoma Grille, next to the convention center. J.T. has been gracious enough to create a custom menu at an affordable price just for us. Thank you, J.T., for making it possible to have our ten year reunion at the best new restaurant in Pittsburgh! Keep an eye on this site for news and updates about everyone and everything Plum 1995. Please email me with your stories and news. I look forward to hearing from everyone and expect a big turnout. Your enthusiasm has already been very encouraging. I hope to have a lot of prizes and giveaways- many have already donated gift certificates, but we need more. Please consider donating products or services from your company as door prizes. It will be good advertising! Thanks, Plum, for your interest! This is going to be fun. Hope to hear from you all soon! Jill M Shaheen
